At ELLIATT, we want you to shop with confidence. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, or if you simply change your mind, we can offer a refund, exchange or store credit, provided the below conditions are met.

To return or exchange your order, please submit your request through our Returns Portal.

RETURN POLICY

ELIGIBILITY

  • All returns must be lodged through our Returns Portal. Returns sent directly to our warehouse without first being lodged through the Returns Portal may not be accepted or processed.

  • Returns must be lodged via our Returns Portal and received by our warehouse within 14 days of delivery.

  • If goods are not received at our distribution centre within this timeframe, we may be unable to process your return, and your garments may be returned to you at your cost.

  • To be eligible for a return, all items must be returned in their original condition and suitable for resale. You may try garments on to assess their fit; however, items must not:

    • Be worn for any occasion or for an extended period beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess the garment's fit.

    • Have the original product tags, ELLIATT return ribbon, security seals or brand labels removed, damaged or tampered with.

    • Be washed, dry cleaned or altered.

    • Be returned with makeup, fake tan, deodorant, perfume, smoke, stains, pet hair, lint or any other signs of wear.

    • Be returned damaged or in a condition that is no longer suitable for resale.

  • Returns that do not meet these conditions may be refused and returned to the sender at the customer's expense. ELLIATT reserves the right to determine whether an item has been handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to assess its nature, characteristics and fit.

  • Full-priced items (including those purchased with a welcome code) are eligible for a refund.

  • SALE items (not marked FINAL SALE) are eligible for store credit or exchange only*.

  • Final Sale items are not eligible for return unless faulty. If you have a faulty Final Sale item, please email our Customer Care team at ecom@elliatt.com and we will guide you through the next steps.

  • Items purchased with promotional discounts are eligible for store credit or exchange only*.

EXCHANGES (AU & US Customers only)

Instant Exchanges: Get your replacement item shipped right away, no need to wait until your return arrives at our warehouse.

Your card details will be securely recorded, and you'll only be charged if your return is not received within the 14-day return period.

To initiate an exchange, please follow the steps in our Returns Portal.

With our Shop for Something New option, you can exchange your return for a completely different style:

  • If your new item costs less than your original, we'll refund you the difference to your original payment method.

  • If your new item costs more, you can shop with a 10% bonus credit and then pay the difference.

  • Your replacement ships right away, so you don't need to wait until we receive your return.

  • No handling fee applies for this option.

The 10% bonus applies only to full-priced items.

STORE CREDIT

Return your items and choose store credit to receive a 10% bonus on your return.

The 10% bonus applies only to full-priced items.

  • No handling fee applies for full-priced items.

  • Store credit is issued in AUD, converted from your original payment currency.

  • Store credit is valid for 3 years and can be used for future purchases only. It cannot be redeemed for cash.

REFUNDS

Once we receive your return, we'll inspect it and confirm the status of your refund.

Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 7 days of receipt.

A handling fee applies only to AU and US customers to cover the cost of the prepaid return label: $15 AUD (AU) or $20 USD (US), unless the item is faulty.

Customers outside of AU and US must use their own return shipping. No handling fee applies.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.

FAULTY RETURNS

We take pride in the quality of our garments. If you believe your item is faulty, please follow the steps below:

  • Lodge your return through our Returns Portal and upload photographs of the fault.

  • Our team will review your claim.

  • If accepted, you will receive a free prepaid return shipping label (AU & US customers via the portal; all other regions will be assisted by our Customer Care team).

  • Approved faulty returns will be refunded or replaced at no cost to you.

  • No handling fees will apply for faulty returns.

Please note: General wear and tear, accidental damage, incorrect washing, misuse or alterations are not considered manufacturing faults.

If you discover a fault after the 14-day return period, please email our Customer Care team at ecom@elliatt.com and we will guide you through the next steps.

SHIPPING

  • We offer a prepaid return label for our AU and US customers.

  • International customers are responsible for their return shipping costs and any taxes or duties that may be incurred when returning their order.

If you opt for a Refund:

  • AU and US customers can use our prepaid return label. A handling fee applies to cover the cost of the label: $15 AUD or $20 USD.

  • Customers outside AU & US must use their own return shipping. No handling fee applies.

If you opt for an Exchange or Store Credit:

  • No handling fee applies.

Please note: When returning your order, ensure no signature is required upon delivery.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Customs fees, duties and taxes paid at checkout or on delivery are non-refundable. If you are returning an international order, you may be required to pay duties again when sending the item back.

EU RIGHT TO WITHDRAWAL

If your order is delivered to a country within the European Union, you have a statutory Right of Withdrawal from the time you place your order until 14 days after you receive the final item in your order.

Before your order has been fulfilled

You may submit a withdrawal request online at any time before your order has been fulfilled.

We'll make every effort to stop your order before it is fulfilled. If your order has already been fulfilled, you may still exercise your Right of Withdrawal by returning your order.

After your order has been fulfilled

  • You may lodge a return through our Returns Portal within 14 days of receiving the final item in your order.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Any applicable duties, taxes or customs charges associated with returning your order may also be the responsibility of the customer.

TAX AND DUTIES

Under no circumstances will ELLIATT refund taxes or duties paid by the customer. These charges are paid directly to the relevant government authority and are not payments made to ELLIATT. We can only refund amounts paid directly to us.

If you are returning an international order, you may be required to pay duties again when sending the item back.
